Day 01 Galle to Udawalawe
One of our agent will warmly welcome and start most convenience with the safest journey to observe unlimited travel temptation. Our first destination is Weherahena Temple, One of the significant Buddhist pilgrimage sites in Sri Lanka. The temple complex, inclusive of all features spreads up to a vast land of three acres. It is also known as the first tunnel temple in the world. The colossal Buddha image which was built after the Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa period is also a significant part of the temple. Then you will driven to the Udawalawe. Udawalawe national Park is one of the major eco-tourism destinations in Sri Lanka. It is about 30,821 hectares dry monsoon forest which bounded in Sabaragamuwa and Uva Provinces, in Sri Lanka. Great place to enjoy the giant Elephants very closely.
Day 02 Udawalawe to Ella
Early in the morning we reach to Buduruwagala temple, one of the significant Buddhist heritage site in Sri Lanka. The complex consists of seven statues and belongs to the Mahayana school of thought. The statues date back to the 10th century. Then we proceed to visit Rawana Falls, which is one of the beautiful waterfalls in Sri Lanka. After the lunch near the Rawana Falls, we proceed to Little Adam’s Peak. It is superbly blende with stunning views while trekking to the top of the mountain. In the evening, we will reach to visit Nine Arch Bridge. The great Nine Arch Bridge is another wonder in Ella. A bridge didn’t use any steel bar and totally connect only bricks. A remarkable creation during the colonial era.
Day 03 Ella to Kandy
After breakfast, you will be attend to a wonderful train journey from Ella to Nanu Oya. Sri Lanka is a beautiful country that’s ideal for train trips. Nanu Oya to Ella is the most popular Railway track among the tourists as this goes through the Tea Plantation and most scenic landscapes in the Sri Lanka’s Hill Country. This is a very scenic Train Journey in the world. End of the train tour, then you’ll proceed to visit beautiful Ramboda waterfall. After the lunch you can join with the tea factory visit. Sri Lanka is one of the world’s largest exporters of tea with a roaring tea industry that dominates the island’s central highlands. In the tea factory, you would generally start out in the plantation itself to learn about how tea is cultivated.
Day 04 Kandy to Sigiriya
The ancient city of Kandy, located in Sri Lanka’s centre, is known to be the country’s cultural capital and an example of Sri Lanka’s rich cultural heritage. This beautiful city in the hills is ideal for relaxing and reflecting. The City is home to the tooth relic of the Lord Buddha and it is housed in the famous ‘DaladaMaligawa’ or ‘Temple of the Tooth’, which attracts thousands to the city every year including devotees as well as visitors who come to marvel at the beautiful architecture of the temple. Kandy is also home to many other old temples and other landmarks, including the amazing Nalanda Gedige, Peradeniya Botanical Gardens and Herbal Spice Garden. End of the day, you will be driven to Sigiriya.
Day 05 Sigiriya to Colombo
After breakfast at the hotel, you will reach to Sigiriya, one of the most valuable historical monuments of Sri Lanka. According to the Sri Lankan history, the king Kashyapa created this Lion’s rock for hide from his brother’s attacks. After the king’s death the Sigiriya named as a Buddhist monastery until 14th century. You can easily climb the Sigiriya about 10-20 minutes from the bottom of the rock. When you visit top of the Sigiriya, you can see the upper palace, middle compound, lower palace, beautiful garden, creative walls, graffiti etc. The architectural and irrigational technologies of Sigiriya, such as the Water Gardens, still baffle engineers. After the lunch, you will reach to Dambulla. The city of Dambulla, located in the central province of the island is home to number of unique attractions, the most famous being the Dambulla Cave Temple Complex, which is the largest and well preserved one of its kind in Sri Lanka. These caves are said to have been inhabited as far as the 3rd century B.C and have been subject to many archeological discoveries. End of the journey, you will driven back to Colombo.
